The 2025 ESPY Awards, presented by Capital One, are scheduled for July 16th. You have the opportunity to cast your vote now and help decide which prominent sports figures will take home the night`s top honors.

Following a recent NBA Championship victory, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a strong contender looking to add to his impressive collection of recent accolades, which include regular-season MVP and Finals MVP titles. The standout guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder is nominated in two categories: Best Athlete in Men`s Sports and Best NBA Player. Furthermore, the Thunder team is recognized among the nine nominees for Best Team, having secured their place after overcoming the Indiana Pacers in a decisive Game 7.

Several athletes have earned ESPY nominations following their remarkable performances at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. Gymnastics star Simone Biles and track and field sensation Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone are both nominated for Best Athlete in Women`s Sports. Additionally, Ilona Maher and Ezra Frech are contenders in the Best Breakthrough Athlete and Best Athlete with a Disability categories, respectively.

A`ja Wilson, who swept the Best Athlete in Women`s Sports and Best WNBA Player awards in 2024, is once again a leading nominee in both of these competitive categories. Running back Saquon Barkley has earned nominations in three distinct areas: Best Athlete in Men`s Sports, Best Play, and Best NFL Player. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen joins Barkley as the only other NFL player nominated for both Best NFL Player and Best Athlete in Men`s Sports.
