Conor McGregor claims a unique ‘superpower’ was the source of the exceptional accuracy enabling his most celebrated victories in the UFC.
The former two-division UFC champion, known for devastating knockouts against opponents like Jose Aldo, Eddie Alvarez, and Dustin Poirier on his path to winning belts in two divisions, attributes this success to a singular advantage he possesses over most people, not just fellow fighters.
However, McGregor`s fighting career seems to be winding down. He hasn`t competed in the octagon for four years and appears more focused on a potential political run for President of Ireland than returning to MMA.
McGregor Claims 20/10 Vision is a Major Edge
On Friday night, as Conor McGregor hinted at a potential return to fighting, he revealed a crucial element behind his past success: exceptionally sharp vision. He stated that his right eye has 20/10 vision, a capability shared by less than 1% of people, while his left eye has 20/20 vision.
Addressing his over 60 million followers on social media platforms X and Instagram, McGregor wrote:
“My accuracy is my superpower. Most do not know this, but in my right eye I have 20/10 vision. I am of the 1% of humans that has this. In my left, I am 20/20.
“Accuracy is final. I’ve most KO’s of all by a long shot and I’ve been chilling on my yachts the last 4 years. To return at the White House with my sniper accuracy would be a very intriguing offer and would bring me back in to focus on my return correctly. Vote McGregor.”
McGregor Expresses Interest in Fighting at Proposed White House Event
McGregor has been actively promoting the idea of participating in a potential UFC event announced recently, planned for the White House lawn next year. Former President Donald Trump revealed plans for such a major fight, which has generated interest among several prominent fighters.
Speaking at a rally in Iowa on Thursday, Trump stated:
“We’re going to have a UFC fight… on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there. We’re gonna build a little… Dana’s gonna do it… Dana is great.
“One of a kind. We’re going to have a UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, like, 25,000 people. We’re going to do that as part of 250 also. We’re going to have some incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events, but the UFC fight’s gonna be a big deal.”
Following Trump`s announcement, McGregor posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“Happy 4th of July, USA. Excited with President Trump announcing a UFC fight event at the White House. I would be honoured! Count me in!”
