Christian Mbilli is set to clash with Maciej Sulecki in a 10-round main event sanctioned by Top Rank Boxing, with the WBC interim super middleweight championship on the line. The highly anticipated bout is scheduled for Friday at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City.
Mbilli boasts a perfect professional record of 28 wins with no losses, including 23 victories coming by knockout. Since beginning his career in 2017, the 30-year-old has proven to be a dominant force, finishing most of his opponents early.
Standing across the ring is the 36-year-old Maciej Sulecki, holding a record of 33 wins, 3 losses, and 13 knockouts. Sulecki is coming off a 10th-round TKO win against Ali Akhmedov in February. Prior to that victory, Sulecki was stopped in the sixth round by Diego Pacheco in August.
Co-Main Event
A rematch is set for the co-feature, as Steven Butler will face Jose de Jesus Macias in another 10-round super middleweight contest. This fight steps in after Erik Bazinyan had to withdraw from his planned bout with Butler due to an aggravated ankle injury.
Macias previously defeated Butler by fifth-round knockout in their initial meeting back in 2021.
