Islam Youssef made a spectacular debut in the PFL, securing an incredible knockout victory at the PFL MENA event. Competing in the bantamweight quarterfinals on Friday, Youssef delivered a sensational flying kick that instantly floored his opponent, Benyamin Ghahreman. Ghahreman had been attempting to retreat near the fence when he spun directly into the airborne strike. Youssef landed a few follow-up strikes before the fight was officially stopped at 3:56 of the second round.
Despite weighing in slightly over the bantamweight limit at 137.3 pounds on Thursday, Youssef`s impressive win advances him to the semifinals of the PFL MENA 135-pound tournament. This victory improves his professional record to 6-2 and extends his winning streak to five consecutive fights dating back to 2021.
