YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul is set to return to the boxing ring for his next challenge. He will face former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The highly anticipated bout is scheduled for Saturday at the Honda Center located in Anaheim, California.
This scheduled 10-round cruiserweight contest, set at a 200-pound limit, will be Paul`s first appearance in the ring since his notable victory over Mike Tyson in November.
Paul holds a professional record of 11 wins and 1 loss, with 7 victories coming by knockout. He enters this fight on a strong five-fight winning streak. His recent wins include bouts against former UFC fighters Nate Diaz and Mike Perry. The 28-year-old`s only professional setback was a split decision loss to Tommy Fury in 2023.
Chavez, whose record stands at 54-6-1 with 34 knockouts, is looking to secure his third consecutive win. He recently achieved victories over David Zegarra and Uriah Hall. The 39-year-old veteran defeated Uriah Hall by unanimous decision on the undercard of the Paul-Perry fight approximately a year ago.
