Jon Jones sends another message to his ‘haters’ after being called the best ‘troll’ in MMA

Jon Jones keeps responding to criticism regarding his time as UFC heavyweight champion.

After becoming a two-division champion in 2023, Jones` tenure as heavyweight king has faced challenges.

Much of this period has involved Jones dismissing calls to face interim champion Tom Aspinall. An injury to Jones led to Aspinall defeating Sergei Pavlovich to claim the interim belt.

Over a year and a half later, the heavyweight titles remain separate. This delay appears linked to Jones, who continues to disregard a fight with Aspinall despite pressure from fans, fighters, and experts.

His recent posts on social media have intensified demands for the UFC to take away his belt.

Jon Jones reacts to `best troll` in MMA tag

Since successfully defending the heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309, the legendary fighter has hinted at retiring.

However, neither Dana White nor the UFC has made a formal announcement about his future or the status of the division.

This situation has led many to label Jones` social media presence as `trolling,` a description Jones seems to accept.

On X (formerly Twitter), Jones recently responded after being called the best troll in MMA.

“I never claimed to be the best, but somehow I keep coming out on top,” Jones posted. He added that his “haters are frustrated lately.”

Jon Jones continues to laugh off fan anger as viral petition nears 200,000 signatures

The heavyweight champion continues to mock his critics on social media. Meanwhile, a fan-created petition asking the UFC to strip Jones of his title keeps gaining support.

Starting with 20,000 signatures in its first week, the petition has gone viral, reaching significant milestones.

It is now nearing 200,000 signatures, but neither the UFC nor Jones seems concerned.

After UFC CEO Dana White called the petition `silly` at a UFC 316 press conference, Jones echoed his view on the signatories, suggesting the number isn`t truly significant in the broader context.
