This high-profile matchup, expected to showcase two top fighters, was canceled after talks for a catchweight fight failed. Reporter Nick Atkin reported that Kaito`s team refused to proceed with a catchweight bout. This came after Grigorian, who initially struggled to provide a hydration sample during the official check, eventually did so but was still 0.75 pounds over the weight limit.
