Nate Diaz Issues Explicit Five-Word Reply to Potential Jake Paul vs. Logan Paul MMA Showdown

Former UFC superstar Nate Diaz gave a strong reaction to Logan Paul`s recent comments regarding a potential fight against his brother, Jake Paul.

The Paul brothers, Logan and Jake, have significantly impacted the world of combat sports through their ventures in boxing and wrestling. Logan is now a prominent figure in WWE, while Jake remains focused on high-profile boxing matchups.

Despite their success in boxing and wrestling, both Paul brothers have hinted at transitioning to MMA. Jake signed with the PFL in 2023 with plans for a professional MMA debut, but his continued boxing activity means the timing for his PFL appearance is still unclear.

Earlier this year, the brothers created a buzz with social media teasers suggesting a potential boxing match between them. However, this turned out to be a promotion for their reality show, postponing the idea of a fight.

Nate Diaz Comments on Logan Paul`s Teased MMA Fight with Jake Paul

Former UFC star Nate Diaz has a history with the Paul brothers, notably from his 2022 boxing bout against Jake Paul. In his first professional boxing match, Diaz was defeated by Jake via unanimous decision. He later secured a boxing win against Jorge Masvidal.

Although a boxing match between Logan and Jake is considered improbable, Logan recently stated on his IMPAULSIVE podcast that he would consider fighting his brother under one specific condition: MMA. He acknowledged Jake`s boxing advantage (“He’d definitely win [in boxing] at this point. He’s got a heavy hand”) and added that such a fight would require “an insane amount of money.”

Following Diaz`s boxing loss to Jake, discussions emerged about a potential rematch in MMA. PFL co-founder Donn Davis publicly suggested a fight between Diaz and Jake in the PFL Smartcage, but despite talks of significant offers, the matchup did not materialize.

After Logan`s remarks about an MMA fight with Jake gained traction online, Nate Diaz quickly responded, taking aim at both brothers. On X (formerly Twitter), Diaz posted his explicit five-word reply: “I`d whoop both these pussies.”

Diaz has indicated that a return to the UFC Octagon for his next fight is a possibility. His last MMA appearance was at UFC 279, where he defeated Tony Ferguson. He was originally scheduled to face Khamzat Chimaev on that card, but the opponent changed due to Chimaev`s weight cut issues.

As of now, neither Logan nor Jake Paul have publicly responded to Diaz`s explicit comments. Jake Paul is scheduled to fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in a boxing match on June 28th in Anaheim.

Jake Paul Eyes Superstar Opponents for MMA Debut Amidst `Nate Diaz Ducking` Claims

While Diaz remains a potential opponent, Jake Paul continues to explore an MMA debut later this year against other high-profile fighters. He has expressed interest in facing boxing heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in the cage, following Usyk`s own comments about a potential MMA venture.

Usyk`s next fight is a heavyweight boxing rematch against Daniel Dubois later this year. This follows his consecutive victories over Tyson Fury, which allowed him to retain his heavyweight titles.

Before the fight with Chavez Jr. was finalized, Jake also hinted at a possible heavyweight boxing clash with Anthony Joshua. Having previously failed to secure a fight with Canelo Alvarez, Jake is actively exploring various options for his upcoming bouts.
